First series of the RAE & CW Test 2010

The Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commision (SKMM) will be holding the first series of the Radio Amature Examination (RAE) and Morse Code Test (CW) for the year 2010, persuant to regulation 26(2) of the Communication and Multimedia (Technical Standard) Regulation 2000 as follow:-

1. morse code test (CW Test)


• Exam date & time - 17 march 2010 & 10.00 a.m
  
• closing date -5 feb 2010 before 17.00 p.m
  
• Region Examination/venue - Central (Cyberjaya)
  



2. Radio Amature Exam (RAE Test)

• Exam date & time - 14 April 2010 & 14.00 p.m
  
• closing date -12 feb 2010 before 17.00 p.m
  
• Region Examination/venue - Northern & Central
  

Qualification to sit the examination/test as follow:-


Morse Code Test (CW Test)

• age 18 and above on the test day
• Holding a valid class B (9W),
• Amature Apparatus Assignment for at least one (1) year prior to the test date.

Radio Amature Exam (RAE Test)

• Age 14 and above on the test date.
• Malasian citizen
• please refer to any SKMM office to confirm the eligibility to non Malaysian citizen.
